Welcome to The Exmoor Forest Inn, a hotel on Exmoor in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. We are a family run inn dedicated to providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and hearty food & drink. From November 1st, we are in Winter Hours so please call to check we are open. Generally, now closed on Mondays and open the rest of the week for lunch between 12 – 2.30pm and for dinner between 6 – 8pm.

We are in a perfect spot from which to enjoy your visit to this beautiful area. We are within a days walk of the start of the Two Moors Way. We welcome walkers, cyclists and visitors to stay with us in our lovely ensuite rooms. We have a drying room, bike storage, maps and guides. We can help with luggage transfer and transport to and from your walking route. Our dog friendly ethos means dogs are welcome in the bar area and in many of our comfy bedrooms so your dog enjoys a holiday too.

Exmoor itself covers an area of around 265 square miles, with long and spectacular coast lines, scenic high moorlands home to wild ponies and red deer, and steep valley passes with tumbling streams and picturesque villages.

We are perfectly positioned for your first or last nights stay on the “Two Moors Way” walking route, linking Exmoor with Dartmoor.
