Welcome to the Exmoor Forest Inn

The Exmoor Forest Inn. Set in the heart of beautiful Exmoor, one of the smallest National Parks covering about 265 square miles With its long and spectacular coast line, high moorland with wild ponies and red deer, steep valley with tumbling streams and picturesque villages, all together a lovely place to be.

The Inn is ideally situated for walking, riding, fishing, shooting or just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We are perfectly positioned for a first or last nights stay on the "Two Moors Walk" linking Exmoor to Dartmoor. 

Why not come along to our cask ale beer festival during the late May Bank Holiday or the jazz night and buffet on the 29th of May (book in advance for the jazz night buffet) 

We shall be holding another Quiz night on June 1st, themed food will be available, £10 per head for the quiz and meal with a prize for the winning team, a donation will be made from the proceeds to a local charity.

The successful Simonsbath Festival 2013 is be running from May 4th to June 23rd 2013 Details of the events can be found here

Tuesday 11th to Sunday 16th June 2013 .

Day 1: Lannacombe to Simonsbath via Brendon Two Gates, Hoar Oak and Exe Head

Day2: Moles Chamber to Simonsbath via Wood Barrow, Pinkery Pond and the Chains

Day 3: Moor to Sea via Dry Bridge, Shilstone Hill, Rockford, the East Lyn Valley and Watersmeet.

Day 4: Follow the Two Moors Way from Withypool to Simonsbath via Landacre Bridge, Cow Castle and Wheal Eliza Each day will have a shorter alternative, walk may change depending on the weather conditions.
